In collaboration with the publishers of the Neue Zürcher Zeitung, the publication Stellenmarkt-Monitor (Job Market Monitor) appeared every year from 2007 to 2013 in the series “NZZ-Mediadok”. This gives a concise account of key developments on the Swiss job market, on the basis of our analysis of job advertisements. Here interest focuses on medium-term trends in relation to the nature of the positions advertised, the skills and qualifications required, and the choice of advertising media (press ad, internet job portals, corporate websites). The brochure can be downloaded for free as a PDF document.
The quarterly Monster Index Switzerland (previously Jobpilot-Index) followed the development of jobs advertised on the internet. It included advertisements on both internet job portals and companies’ own websites, thus reflecting the development of job advertisements on the internet. The regularly published index, launched by jobpilot.ch and Monster Worldwide Switzerland AG, was based on surveys by the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland (FHNW) and the Swiss Job Market Monitor at the University of Zurich.
The Monster Index Switzerland was discontinued in 2013.
